Feasibility study
Once you know where flexibility exists, the next step is understanding what actually works. Our feasibility study builds directly on the Flex-e framework and translates opportunities into concrete, investment-ready solutions. Aligned with the requirements of the Flex-e scheme from RVO, it determines which flexibility measures are technically and financially viable for your organization.
Limited subsidy available: receive 50% subsidyWhat we do
We take the identified flexibility opportunities and assess them in depth, focusing on:
- Technical feasibility of solutions, such as storage, smart controls and process optimization
- Financial viability and business case
- Impact on your contracted capacity and grid constraints
- Integration with your operations and energy system
The study gives you a clear understanding of which measures are worth implementing, and why.
What you get
A detailed, decision-ready report that:
- translates flexibility options into technical concepts or designs
- quantifies the expected flexibility (impact in kW and kWh)
- evaluates investment costs, savings and payback
- shows the effect on your grid connection and congestion challenges
The study also demonstrates how the proposed measures reduce grid pressure and improve the use of your contracted capacity.
Why it matters
The feasibility study is the critical bridge between analysis and execution:
- Turns ideas into validated business cases
- Reduces investment risk
- Supports internal decision-making and budgeting
- Prepares you for implementation with subsidy support
Within the Flex-e structure, this phase is specifically intended to assess whether flexibility measures are technically and economically feasible before implementation.
A logical next step
Where the flexibility scan identifies opportunities, the feasibility study provides the depth needed to move forward with confidence. It enables you to:
- Make informed investment decisions
- Prioritize the most effective measures
- Move toward implementation with a clear roadmap
Next step: EPC contracting
Validated your business case? We'll turn it into a contracted, financed, subsidy-supported project.
